I am a computer geek by trade and a cook in a past life and I am also a voracious reader. Favourite authors include Tom Robbins, Kurt Vonnegut and Hunter S. Thompson. My father is an ex-English teacher and my mother is retired creative manager in television.

I am relatively new to the writing gamebut wanted to bring my knowledge of and experience with food to light. I was a professional cook for ten years and have been passionate about cooking ever since. All my recipes and creations are my own but I take my inspiration from the likes of Marco Pierre White, Heston Blumenthal and Thomas Keller.

Hopefully what I have learned in my kitchen will help or even inspire others to love food as I do.
